Office of Sustainability Activities Update May 2011
With the growth of cycling on campus, the opening of the LIC with bike commuter-friendly shower rooms and lockers, and in keeping with RRU's desire of being a leader in sustainability on a campus - that is as a living laboratory of the kinds of things that we teach and espouse - there was a need to find out more about who are the bicycle commuters and what are their needs and desires. Therefore in July 2011, a bike survey of known RRU cyclists was conducted in order to determine their cycling infrastructure needs, which are now presented in the report Commuter Cycling and Infrastructure at Royal Roads University
